POS Retreat 2004
Pavo, Georgia
April 2nd in Pavo, Georgia for the purpose of providing time
away from the 'real' world for members of POS to gather together
and celebrate the lives of their sons and daughters.
Special guests were those who came from countries
outside of the United
States to attend.
Helen Logie from South Africa
Bob and Lynda Humphrey from England
Rosaleen McCabe from Ireland
At this retreat, we presented the POS - FFOS Memorial Cookbooks
to those who attended.
We planted a willow tree (donated by Faye, mother of Lisa)
in memory of ALL who died by suicide.
We held our annual Peace Fire Ceremony.
We also had sharing circles.
Most important, however, we shared memories, tears
and hugs with each
other, solidifying friendships
which were created via the internet, a world
without boundaries.
